The aim of this journal is to advance Philippine ophthalmology by disseminating high quality, peer-reviewed reports and researches in the field of ophthalmology and visual sciences. In doing so, it seeks to promote knowledge and innovation, facilitate evidence-based practice, encourage scientific dialogue, support education and training, and foster global collaboration in ophthalmology.
Scope:
The scope of this journal includes reports of original clinical and laboratory investigations, epidemiological studies done in the Philippines and other countries, major reviews of specific topics, case reports/series, evaluation of diagnostic and surgical techniques, treatment methods, latest updates and controversial issues in ophthalmology.
Publication Frequency:
The Journal is a biannual publication. The schedule for release is every June and December.
